| haveing just returned from our first trip to Bulgaria we found it a very nice place except for the hotel we stayed at the Edelwise would not return again to this hotel the hotel itsself was nice clean and bright , but service and staff were not, there was a pool side bar which started to play very loud music ( if you could call it music !! ) it started at 8.30am every morning and did not finish until 11 p.m every night and sometimes later the constant boom boom boom boom !!!!!would drive you insane we contacted both holiday rep and hotel staff ( who did there best to have it stopper but to no avail ) we never stayed at the hotel during the day we spent it on the beach only returning to shower in the evening and head baclk away from the noise in the evenings the down side to this was the 130 or so steps up and down to the beach area , as for the food at the hotel it was very very poor we will return to Bulgaria again as it a lovely country but there are far better hotels nearer to the resort we would not recomend the Edelweis to anyone with walking diffculties (too many steps ), or any one looking for a quiet relaxing stay. |
