| We went here a month ago and were really disappointed. For a 5* hotel, I think it only got its *'s for the facilities. Where do I start ... the mattresses were worn, to the point where you could see a massive dip. The bathroom smelt of damp, due to the tiles on the floor being really uneven, that when you had a shower the water bounced of one wall to another and flooded the room. The walls were paper thin, so we had surround sound from our neighbours. It didn't help that they had children, who were slamming doors and running up and down the room and screaming - it sounded as if they were in the same room. The food was very monotonous and bland, but was not any different to the local restaurants. The breakfast was terrible! We booked to have a full body massage and my husband’s therapist turned up like he was going into an operating theatre and my therapist was in shorts and a t-shirt! The room was like a swimming pool changing room and between us was a plasterboard divide, with a shower curtain at the entrance. You couldn't get a sun lounger for love or money. Probably 50 beds crammed in, to 500 odd guests! We went to the beach one day and there were dead fish the size of your hand washed up on the shoreline and floating, I dread to think why! The nightlife was how I imagine Benidorm to be, but I have to point out that there are prostitutes everywhere, which was quite shocking! On the plus side the staff were friendly, but didn't make up for our disappointment, we won't be going back! |

| great hotel. spotlessly clean. helpful staff. food is nice although seamt to be almost the same thing everyday. will be returning 2006. |

| I went to the Marina Grand Beach hotel in August 2005, and I would recommend this hotel to people visiting Golden Sands. It is in a very convenient location, just across from the beach, and stalls of the resort. On a negative note the pool was nice but the sunbeds were always taken very early in the morning. Therefore we found a private swimming-pool just off the side road for a small price of about 4 lev each, which included a sunbed, and it was very pleasant. Excellent views from the Sky Bar, serving cocktails on an evening. Also it was a nice view from our room. We are hoping to return to Marina Grand Beach in August 2006. |

| We stayed at the marina hotel in august 2005 and had a great holiday. The food was good and the staff are very friendly. The only fault we could find is the lack of space around the hotel pool. We never managed to get a sun bed in two weeks and although the management say it is not allowed if you want a sunbed you would have to put your towel out very early to secure a spot. The hotel is just across the road from the beach though where you can easily get a sunbed. The rooms are cleaned every day and each day we came back to a work of art with towels by the maids swans, boats etc which the kids thought were great. Would definitely reccomend this hotel. |

| A TRUE 5 STAR HOTEL,THE STAFF WERE BRILLIANT,THE ROOMS WERE SPOTLESS AS WERE THE HOTEL TOILETS AND BAR,THE STAFF ALWAYS HAD A SMILE ON THEIR FACES, NOTHING WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE, OUTSIDE THE HOTEL THINGS WERE JUST THE SAME, HAPPY PEOPLE NO HASTLE, THE FOOD WAS VERY REASONABLY PRICED, 2 ADULTS 2 CHILDREN WERE EATING OUT FOR ABOUT £12 INCLUDING A FEW BEERS AND GLASSES OF WINE,WE HAVE DECIDED TO RETURN 2006 BUT IN JUNE RATHER THAN MAY BECAUSE OF THE WEATHER, JUST A BIT CHILLY IN THE EVENING, (TAKE A COAT) ALL IN ALL A HOLIDAY WELL WORTH HAVING. |
